On March 12, the staff of the CJSC “FINCA Bank” conducted training in Karakol city and Kyzyl-Adyr village. Students of vocational schools named after T. Satylganov and T. Babanov became the training participants. Trainings were held within the Global Money Week, and the bank acts as a partner for second year and conducts training events in all regions of the country. “Savings today are for safe tomorrow” – it is a slogan of the company, relying of which the trainers of financial literacy told the students about types and possibilities of savings. In general, 48 students and teachers attended these trainings who highlighted importance of financial literacy and paid attention to fact that the children should learn use money rationally form early childhood.
On March 10, trainings on financial knowledge for the pupils in the regions of Kyrgyzstan were launched. The first training was held in the Belovodskoe village.
The Institute of Economics and Finance of the Kyrgyz National University named after J.Balasagyn has organized the roundtable “Financial knowledge among the students” in a framework of the Global Money Week.
From November 2014 to February 2015, FINCA, the National Bank and local authorities have conducted a series of joint trainings on financial literacy.
FINCA continues series of partner trainings with the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Initial trainings within a series of partner trainings on financial literacy were launched jointly with the NBKR. The first training was held last week at the Talas Technological Institute.
During November 17-21, the trainers on financial literacy of the Kockor-Ata FINCA’s branch organized and held trainings for the citizens of Tash-Kumyr town and the Nooken rayon.
The senior students of the school in Kok-Dobo village took part at the training on financial literacy. Training for them was held by the staff of the Kyzyl-Adyr FINCA’s branch.
Recently, FINCA’s Kerben branch conducted training on financial literacy for the citizens of Kerben town. Team of the branch has conducted similar trainings for the city municipality earlier and decided to hold training in other part of the town.
