In order to support small and medium enterprises, FINCA Bank in cooperation with the LLP “Deloitte & Touche”, organized a number of seminars on the subject “Support of small and medium enterprises in the time of instability”.
The World Day of Savings will be celebrated in Kyrgyzstan on October 31. The World Day of Savings or the World Thrift Day was established on October 31, 1924. For decades of celebrating, the Day has transformed into an annual tradition accompanied by colorful events and thrift promoting campaigns.
FINCA Bank has become a partner of an international development fund (Child & Youth Finance International) in the field of finance for children and youth. Its activity is directed to the increase in the level of financial literacy of children.
The Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO) provides USD 15 million local currency syndicated loan facility to the CJSC “FINCA Bank”. The relevant agreement has been reached on August 28, 2015. It stipulates that syndicated loan facility is intended for on-lending to micro and small businesses in Kyrgyzstan.
Now the clients of FINCA Bank can credit settlement accounts and deposit accounts using the Bank’s payment terminals. All the replenishments can be done in soms; in the case if clients want to credit their accounts opened in another currency, automatic converting in accordance with the Bank’s exchange rate will take place.
First interactive evening events were held in the branches of the CJSC “FINCA Bank”. On June 16, the first interactive event took place in Bishkek branch. The second one was held in the Central branch on June 17.
In March, 2015, a global campaign called “The World Money Week” directed to the development of culture of savings and providing knowledge of finance to children and young people.
Glad Tidings scattered across Kyrgyzstan.“Suyunchu” events that were held during May brought attention of the inhabitants of different regions. CJSC “FINCA Bank” officially opened its doors and informed on launching of the banking products and services.
The official opening of FINCA Bank was held in Isfana. The branch’s doors were opened for its first clients on May 29, 2015. Partners and representatives of commercial banks also attended the festive event “Suyunchu”.
The local branch of FINCA Bank made a presentation of banking products and the services provided by FINCA Bank in Talas. The Suyunchu event took place on May 28.
