The Kite Day

FINCA company together with the staff of “GRANT0!5” agency and other not-indifferent companies has organized the Kite Day for the children of the Republican boarding school No. 21 for hearing impaired children. The social event took place on June 1, on “Ala-Too” square next to the State Historical Museum.

The children with hearing impairment perceive the surrounding world in a different way than we do, and express their feelings and wishes with gestures that only few can understand. On the Kite Day the staff of the companies who supported the event, were able to have a glimpse of the magic world of these children by sharing with them the joy and delight of participating in the festive event.

Children drew on the asphalt, learned the ancient Chinese art of making figurines from paper – origami, and, of course, flew kites, which became the highlight of the program. Following buffet of various sweets, amusements at Panfilov’s Park were awaiting the children from the boarding school.

Since the initiative group of organizers managed to raise more funds than it was expected, similar fests were held in 3 more boarding schools for visually impaired, mute and hearing impaired orphan children in Kara-Balta and Osh.
