Kindergarten FINCA provided support is located in the Shamaldy-Say village, the Jalal-Abad province. Kindergarten “Teremok” was built in 1958. In spite of long-standing of this building, it is not dilapidated – the local authorities and education unit keep this building in good condition. There are only three groups in the kindergarten “Teremok”, which are visited by 100 kids.  But this institution needs urgently new furniture, intellectual toys, and books, i.e. everything the modern children need for education purpose. It was a shortage of beds, and children slept two in one bed or on floor in play-room. Only few lockers are inherited since soviet time in locker room.

The company FINCA endorsed and supported this project within its direction of social care – support and development of educational institutions. So, the kindergarten received furniture for kids in amount of over 160 thousand soms.

Toys and marker boards were purchased in amount of about 10 thousand soms, and sateen and cotton for mattress in amount of over 20 thousand soms. The parents of children and the kindergarten staff decided to make mattress. “On June 2nd, 2013 года, the staff of the Kochkor-Ata branch of our company came to hand over gifts and various sweets. In response, the kids with a help of educators have organized tiny concert and shared their joy and fun. Probably, it was the best reward for our inputs”, – FINCA staff reported.
