April 22 is the International Earth Day. This day people from different countries make their efforts to protect the environment and preserve the beauty of our common home – the Earth.

Earth Day is a civic initiative that is open for all people, groups and organizations.

FINCA Company decided to join the celebration of this day and to take a number of steps with its team for a decrease of people’s impact on the environment.

FINCA employees working in Bishkek took part in cleaning the Alamedin river shore close to the Eastern bus station of the capital with staff of Hyatt hotel and MegaCom mobile operator.

The rest branches of FINCA Company carried out voluntary Saturday activities in all 7 oblasts of Kyrgyzstan as well. Besides the cleaning of park areas, trees were whitened, flowers, turf grass and planting stock of ornamental trees were planted in places of public rest areas.
Six offices of the company conducted actions regarding the increase the awareness of the population about Earth Day with distributing information leaflets, and flower and vegetable seeds at central markets of Cholpon-Ata, Karakol, and Tokmak, Batken, Kerben cities and Bokonbaevo village.
