FINCA Company was a partner of the national SIFE competitions which took place on June 4 and 5 in Bishkek.

SIFE teams from 9 universities of Kyrgyzstan participated in the competitions: AUCA, BAFE, BTFE, IIIEP (KNU), KSUCTA, KSJA, KRSU, IUK and Osh State University.

Institute for Integration of International Educational Programs (IIIEP) of KNU named after J. Balasagyn has won the competitions, having demonstrated the highest level of project and preparation quality among team participants.

As a result, SIFE IIIEP team has got the right to represent Kyrgyzstan in SIFE-2011 World Cup, which will take place on October 3-5 in Kuala-Lumpur (Malaysia). In the World Cap the IIIEP team will contend for the name of the World Champion along with other national SIFE champions from 40 countries of the world.

Working in cooperation with business and educational institutions SIFE mobilizes students from all over the world to use the knowledge they get in university studies for the solution of economic problems in communities of their countries.

SIFE students form teams within their universities and develop projects aiming for improvement in quality and level of life of people in need. SIFE teams’ activities range from support of small business holders to assistance to unemployed people. SIFE movement helps to develop leader qualities and entrepreneur skills in students, thus promoting development of professional staff and future leaders.

In Kyrgyzstan SIFE exists and successfully develops for 15 years, covering 14 universities of the country. National SIFE competitions are annually held in Kyrgyzstan; at the end of competitions a champion team is determined, which receives the right to represent Kyrgyzstan in the International SIFE World Cup.
