In October 2011, which was announced in Kyrgyzstan as a month of elderly people support, FINCA company has held a number of events, under which the targeted material aid was provided to retired people, as well as to elderly care institutions.

15 branches of the company across the republic and Bishkek headquarters took part in the social events. Six branches provided construction materials, household equipment, everyday objects, winter footwear and food products to the specialized elderly care institutions in their regions. Two branches have held banquets for elderly people with festive program and presents. Nine branches have organized the targeted provision of products for retired people.

In Bishkek the company together with “Tumar” radio station has held a charity event titled “Celebrity fair”. The open sale of private things of Kyrgyz pop-stars, such as Guljigit Kalykov, Gulnur Satylganova, “Non-stop” duet, Burash, Omar etc. took place under this event on the territory of “Manas” cinema theatre. The funds raised from the sale of things were used for improvement of residential conditions of Bishkek Pervomaisky district nursing home.

In general, FINCA company provided support to 8 institutions for elderly people and targeted aid to more than 650 retired people for a total amount of more than 590 thousand KGS.
