On August 22 a partnership agreement was executed among “MCC FINCA” CJSC, “Initiative of Roza Otunbaeva” International Public Foundation, Sokuluk rayon education department and local governance bodies.

This agreement contemplates the introduction of “3 hour programs” and opening of one school kindergarten in three pilot aiyk okmotus of Sokuluk rayon (Voenno-Antonovka aiyl okmotu, Frunze aiyl-okmotu, Kainazarovski aiyl okmotu) on the basis of the following municipal kindergartens and elementary school: kindergarten No. 20 of Voenno-Antonovka aiyl okmotu, “Solnyshko” kindergarten in village n.a. Frunze, secondary school n.a. Z.Kadyrkulova in Tiuz village of Sokuluk rayon Chui oblast,.

Under this agreement “MCC FINCA” CJSC has provided all the necessary equipment and furniture for the kindergartens and elementary school.

The main objective of such Public Private Partnership is to involve pre-school children from the regions of Kyrgyzstan into social life. According to official statistics, only 13% of pre-school children attend special institutions, in rural areas this indicator equals 5%. Thus, the company is involved into the settlement of the problem related to the low access of population to pre-school education. The creation of additional classes in pre-school institutions intends to cover the most children with a view to train them in preparation to school, social life, training in special subjects, tolerance.

In the nearest future similar projects will be implemented in other oblasts of the republic.
