Long winter, heavy snowfall and unforeseen avalanches in the mountain areas of Chon-Alai region of Osh oblast resulted in mass loss of cattle. FINCA came to the aid of livestock breeders of remote settlements, by providing 560 bundles of pressed hay for cattle feeding.

– It is critical to provide cattle forage to the residents of the settlements distant from regional center, who suffered from weather, since livestock breeding is the main source of income for Chon-Alai population, – says the manager of FINCA Alai branch Tolkunbek Ramanov. – Almost two meters snow still covers mountain grasslands, and it will melt only in mid-May. Pasture of cattle in “jailoo” is going to start one month later this year. That is why we have decided to support our clients, providing them with supply for cattle.

Almost 14 thousand kilograms of pressed hay was distributed by FINCA Company among 280 livestock breeders, who faced difficulties due to long winter cold. Financial aid was also provided to the microcredit company employees, who live and work in Chon-Alai region.
