Top phrases of telephone scams
  • Unauthorized Attempt Warning: “An unauthorized attempt to debit funds from your account has been detected from your Mobile Banking” – scammers use this to engage you in a conversation and, under the pretext of “securing your savings,” learn confidential information about your bank card.

  • Account Amount Inquiry: “Give me an approximate amount in your account” – scammers want to know the range of amounts in your account to determine possible theft.

  • SMS Code Request: “Dictate the code from SMS” – scammers ask you to provide a code from SMS to confirm a transaction or log into the application.

  • Secure App Installation: “Install a secure app” – scammers may offer to install a fake app to access your phone or bank account.

If you detect such signs, it is recommended to immediately end the conversation and contact the Bank’s Contact Center to confirm the information.
