At the end of 2014, FINCA International conducted on-line voting for title “The best woman-entrepreneur” among the clients in all countries of FINCA network.

Based on success stories and photo pictures, four women were selected from Malawi, Salvador, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan, who managed to improve their life through their hard work and persistence. Commission, which was composed of 120 donors, was suggested to chose the best story, and majority of voices was given to Makhpuza Talibaeva.

Makhpuza Talibaeva is the client of the Jalal-Abad branch of FINCA Bank in Kyrgyzstan. Meeting cheerful and well-wishing Makhpuza, no one get idea that she experienced many difficulties. Illness of her son and shortage of funds after a collapse of the USSR, forced her to leave position of health worker twenty years ago and become a sewer.  Her son was born with disabilities, and Makhpuza’s family was out of pocket.

To feed her family and regain feet, she took loan in FINCA and during many years she works with us. “The most difficult is to become strong in order not to stop. Impossible is possible”, – Makhpuza says.

Now, she takes care of kids of her son. She creates beautiful items, which make people happy, and she supports her big family.
