On March 27, 2026, FINCA Bank held a practical seminar for women entrepreneurs in Bishkek as part of the EBRD’s Women in Business program in Central Asia. Around 50 women joined the event.

During the seminar, Nazakat Aslanova, Commercial Director of FINCA Bank, spoke about the importance of supporting women entrepreneurs and introduced the Bank’s financial and non-financial services that help women grow their businesses.

An EBRD representative shared information about business support opportunities, while the SheStarts team talked about building business skills and mentoring programs.

The seminar included practical sessions on financial tools, personal and business security, and fraud prevention. One of the highlights was an open discussion with representatives of the State Tax Service, where participants asked questions and received helpful answers.

The event was not only a learning opportunity but also a chance to connect with other entrepreneurs. Participants shared experiences, made new connections, and received useful advice for growing their businesses. They highly appreciated the seminar and said they would like to see similar events held in other regions of Kyrgyzstan.
