Sonunbubu went into trade after the collapse of the Soviet Union, first in Bishkek, then in Kara-Balta. She used to sell dairy products. Her illness made Sonunbubu change her life, and 15 years ago she opened a shop in her house.

A small window in her house through which she used to sell food products has become a basis for a shop with an expanded range of goods. One can envy Sonunbubu, as in spite of her age she is full of energy and vitality. She is always ready to give advice and extend a helping hand.
